Serge Langis

  • Coach Langis brings over 22 years of coaching experience from all levels, including provincial high school, collegiate, and professionally in the NBLC.
  • Joined the Moncton Miracles basketball organization during the NBLC’s inaugural 2011-12 season, and since then held a range of roles and responsibilities including Assistant Coach, Assistant GM, Associate Head Coach to eventually become the Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel in 2014.
  • During his two year stint as Head Coach (2014-2016), Serge had one of the NBLC’s most efficient and productive offenses in the NBLC.
  • Serge coached 2012-13 NBLC MVP (Devin Sweetney), 2012-13 ROY (Isaac Butts) and 2015-16 Newcomer of Year (James Justice).
  • Named NBLC Coach of the Month for January 2015.
  • Has won provincial championships at the high school level in New Brunswick

  • Has coached at the Canadian collegiate level at Crandall University
  • Has coached in several National Championships with the Boys’ Under 15 and Under 17 New Brunswick programs
  • Owner and President of Sweat Academy, a high level development camp for competitive high school and collegiate athletes in New Brunswick
  • Owner and Treasurer of The Shot Lab Inc., a basketball training facility in Moncton, NB
  • Has worked with Canada Basketball for their Centre for Performance program as Head Coach of the Atlantic for several years
  • Born and raised in Moncton, NB
  • Earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of St-Thomas and a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from the University of Maine at Presque Isle
  • Has been a High School educator for 14 years
  • Serge has been happily married to wife, Nicole Angers-Langis, for 13 years and together have an 8-year old son named Olivier.
