The Standing Tall Initiative is a year-round community impact program created by the KW Titans to harness the power of sport in building better citizens, stronger communities, and confident young leaders.

At its core, Standing Tall equips the people who shape young lives each day -- teachers, coaches, mentors, and community leaders -- with a simple but meaningful recognition tool: free family-pack tickets to KW Titans and Kitchener Panthers games, to award to young people who demonstrate leadership, character, and citizenship.

This is not a one-time giveaway, but an ongoing recognition program used to recognize and reward positive behaviour demonstrated in classrooms, on the playing field, and in community settings.

The initiative operates year-round, anchored by the KW Titans basketball season and continuing through the Kitchener Panthers baseball season, ensuring community impact across the calendar year.

 

Through  WRSE (Waterloo Region Sport & Entertainment), Standing Tall aims to create thousands of intentional moments that celebrate leadership, integrity, teamwork, service, and inclusion. The KW Titans are issuing a global challenge to other professional, semi-professional, and high-level sports organizations to adopt the initiative within their own communities and use sports as a platform to recognize and inspire positive social impact.
