Adding Experience and Perimeter Depth with New Backcourt Duo

The KW Titans front office has officially announced two major roster moves designed to fortify the team’s backcourt for the second half of the season. Joining the squad are veteran guard JD Tisdale (#11) and sharp-shooting playmaker Nick Garth (#1).

The Titans are loading up for a deep playoff run with these two high-impact veterans, both of whom bring extensive experience to the roster. JD Tisdale, a 6’5″ guard out of Rogers State, returns to the Titans after being the team’s first-round pick in the BSL Combine two seasons ago.

Known as a versatile “Big Guard,” Tisdale has the unique ability to guard multiple positions and play across several offensive spots. He is currently integrating into the lineup, with Coach Cliff noting that while Tisdale knows the league well, he is focused on getting more reps in practice to build chemistry with the current squad.

Beyond his elite shooting, Coach Cliff highlighted Garth’s basketball IQ as key factors that will stabilize the team during high-pressure moments. Garth made his debut during the February 7th victory over the Sudbury Five.

These moves come at a pivotal time as the Titans sit second in the standings following their thrilling 100-99 win over Sudbury. Coach Cliff believes these two veterans are exactly what the team needs to stabilize the rotation. “Two guys I think can help us,” he concluded. Both players are expected to be significant contributors, providing the veteran leadership and league familiarity necessary to compete at the highest level.
