Titans Secure Road Win And Dominate With Family Day Victory

The KW Titans delivered a statement performance this past weekend, securing two vital wins that showcased both their late-game resilience and their offensive firepower. The weekend started with a road trip on February 15, 2026, where the Titans outlasted the Lake Erie Jackals in a 129-120 overtime thriller.

In a game defined by its back-and-forth nature, featuring nine ties and four lead changes, the Titans relied on a massive 50-point contribution from their bench to stay competitive against a 38-point explosion from Lake Erie’s Joshua Dominguez.

Player of the Game Ty Pickett was the anchor for KW, recording 30 points and 9 rebounds on a highly efficient 12-of-15 shooting performance, while Tarkus Ferguson provided a critical spark off the bench with 27 points. The difference-maker proved to be the extra period, where the Titans’ superior conditioning and three-point shooting (42.4% for the game) allowed them to outscore the Jackals 15-6 in overtime to pull away for the win.

The momentum carried over to February 16, 2026, for a celebratory Family Day home game at The Aud, where the Titans dismantled the Lebanon Leprechauns in a 115-92 blowout. The Titans established dominance immediately, racing to a 30-18 lead in the first quarter and never looking back, eventually leading by as many as 37 points.

While Ty Groce led all scorers with 22 points, Zakeem Davis earned Player of the Game honors by racking up a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. The Titans’ offensive rhythm was bolstered by an exceptional 43.2% shooting display from beyond the arc and a near-perfect 85.2% from the free-throw line, which stifled any hope of a Lebanon comeback despite a 19-point effort from JoMel Boyd.

With strong interior defence that saw them out-rebound the Leprechauns 54-46 and another deep bench performance led by Joel Kindred, the Titans ensured the home crowd went home happy, capping off a perfect two-game stretch that cements their status as a force in the Basketball Super League.
